The French Verandah SVG Community College Cricket Team will participate in the 2017 edition of the Sir Garfield Sobers International Schools Cricket Tournament to take place in Barbados from July 9th to 24th, 2017.

The sixteen man squad will be led by the SVG National Under 19 Cricket Captain and Windward Island Under 19 Selectee, Jeremy Layne, a first year student at the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies, pursuing Physical Education, Sociology and Communication Studies.

Ronaldo Franklyn, a former National Under 19 offspinner and a year two student at the Division of Arts, Sciences and General studies, pursuing an Associates Degree in Business Studies, will be the team's vice captain.

The unit on tour will also include SVG National Under 19 players; Urnel Thomas, Tilron Harry, Rayon Williams, Jerremy Haywood and Rayshorn John.
