Your technical competencies should include:

• At least a Master's degree in Nursing Administration, Nursing Education, or any other closely-related field;
• At least five years’ experience as a Senior Nursing Lecturer
• At least five years’ experience in a Supervisory or Leadership role within the Nursing field
• Strong experience in performing administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, planning and development

Your soft skills should include:

• The ability to promote leadership and vision, and to effectively lead collaborative change
• A demonstrated commitment to student-centred learning, maintaining high academic standards and promoting an innovative educational environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Some of your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Setting departmental goals and objectives and supervising their attainment
• Strengthening and managing the academic offerings of the Division
• Liaising with external agencies and institutions for the coordination of various degree programmes at the DNE
• Preparing, managing and monitoring the Division’s annual budget
• Staff recruitment, onboarding, training and development
• Managing staff relations, performance and productivity within the Division
• Monitoring students’ progress towards meeting graduation requirements
