2019 QuickCash Corp Vita Malt SVGCC Volleyball Competition - Day 6 Results
In what was an exciting two hours long four sets finals, Year One Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies (DASGS) prevailed over the defending champions, the Division of Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE), to cop the 2019 QuickCash Corp. Vita Malt SVGCC Inter-Divisional Volleyball title, on Friday 15th March 2019 at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex.
Year One DASGS took the lead winning the first set 25-18 before the Technical students stormed back to win the second set 25-21. A thirty eight minute grueling third set then entertained the crowd at the sports complex, which Year One DASGS eventually won 25-23. The Year One students then went on to win the fourth set 25-20.
The Division of Teacher Education (DTE) took third spot after Year Two DASGS disappointed all by failing to show up for the third place game.
Ronaldo”Spanky’ Franklyn walked away with three awards, the MVP of the Tournament, MVP of the Finals and MVP of Year One DASGS. Joshua Cupid and Miguel Cruickshank shared the MVP award for DTVE, Arnel Horne MVP of Year Two DASGS, Akeel Jack MVP of DTE and Enrico Nedd MVP of the RSVG Police Youth Club.
The College's attention will now turn to the institution's Road Relay to be held on Tuesday, March 19th 2019.
