2020 SVGCC QuickCash Corp. Invitational Volleyball and Road Relay Results
Defending champions, the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Team Two eased to a commanding straight sets win over the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Team One, in the final of the 2020 QuickCash Corp. SVG Community College Invitational Volleyball Competition that culminated on Friday 13th March 2020 at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex.
The Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Team Two retained the title winning 25-17, 25-14, 25-22. In the third place playoff which preceded the final, the Medical Schools Combined took the third spot with a three sets to one win over the Division of Technical and Vocational Education 25-21, 25-20, 20-25, 25-22.
In the prize giving ceremony that followed, Alliyah Laborde was the Most Outstanding Female Player from the Division of Technical and Vocational Education, Natalie Aremu took that award for the Medical Schools Combined, Stephanie Ross for the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Team One and Ettonia Antrobus for the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Team Two.
The Most Valuable Male Players Awards went to Kemuel John of the Division of Technical and Vocational Education, Hamza Sheikh for the Medical Schools Combined, Jamion John for the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Team One and Ronaldo Franklyn for the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Team Two. Ronaldo Franklyn was also awarded the MVP of the Final, Ettonia Antrobus the Most Valuable Female Player of the Tournament while Jamion John copped the Most Valuable Male Player of the Tournament accolade.
QuickCash Corp. SVG Community College Invitational Road Relay 2020
Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies retained the Female Road Relay crown while the Division of Technical and Vocational Education took the Male category when the SVG Community College staged it 2020 QuickCash Corp. Invitational Road Relay on Friday 13th March , that started and ended at the Division of Technical and Vocational Education in Arnos Vale.
Year Two Arts Sciences and General Studies won the female division in 1 hour, 19 minutes 36.82 seconds. The Division of Nursing were second in 1 hour, 23 minutes 03.80 seconds and the Division of Technical and Vocational Education Year Two 3rd in 1 hour, 27 minutes 54.38 seconds.
In the male division, the Division of Technical and Vocational Education Year Two won in a time of 52 minutes, 20.20 seconds, the Division of Technical and Vocational Education Year One were second in 54 minutes, 49.69 seconds and Year Two Arts Sciences and General Studies 3rd in 58 minutes, 45.22 seconds.
