We are seeking qualified and motivated individuals to fill two (2) new positions.
1. Partnership & Enterprise Officer
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Partnership & Enterprise Officer (PEO) in the Unit for Partnerships and Enterprise Development (UPED) of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.
The PEO will report directly to the Directorate and lead the development, coordination, and management of the College’s partnership, enterprise, sponsorship, internship, grant, alumni, and innovation initiatives. The Officer will play a key role in strengthening revenue generation, industry engagement, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and institutional visibility.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of the Partnership & Enterprise Officer will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify and monitor grant opportunities from regional and international funding agencies.
- Develop, write and submit grant proposals, and manage grant relationships, reporting obligations and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain MoUs and partnership agreements with industry, Government, and other institutions.
- Coordinate internship, apprenticeship, and work-placement programmes in collaboration with the divisions, HMTI, and CGCE.
- Manage the College’s industry relations portfolio and support strategic external relationships.
- Manage the College’s sponsorship programme, including pursuing sponsorship opportunities, developing sponsorship packages, managing sponsor relationships, and coordinating sponsorship activities across campuses.
- Design and deliver entrepreneurship development programmes for students and staff.
- Coordinate innovation competitions, bootcamps, business incubation support, and the College’s SME and mentor network.
- Coordinate alumni affairs, including the development of an alumni database and support for the Alumni Association.
- Liaise with CGCE, HMTI, and the Divisions on workforce development and professional training opportunities.
- Liaise with the Office of Finance on revenue tracking, reporting, and compliance, including maintenance of a revenue pipeline tracker.
- Manage and coordinate the rental of College spaces, supervise the UPED Clerk, and track and report on programme outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Public Administration, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be an asset.
- Training or certification in proposal writing, project management, partnership development, entrepreneurship, business development, or a related area would be an asset.
- At least five years of relevant experience in partnership development, grants or proposal writing, project coordination, business development, sponsorship development, entrepreneurship support, or stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience preparing proposals, managing external relationships, coordinating programmes or events, and tracking outcomes.
- Experience working in or with education and training institutions, Government agencies, private sector organisations, NGOs, or funding agencies would be an asset.

REMUNERATION:
- Expected Salary Range: XCD 63,192 – 81,432 (depending on qualifications and experience).
- Total Package: Duty and Travel Allowances included

2. Head, Hospitality & Maritime Training Institute
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Head of the Hospitality and Maritime Training Institute (HMTI) of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.
The Head, HMTI, will provide strategic, academic, operational and business leadership for the Institute. The successful applicant will guide the Institute’s transition to a stand-alone entity, while ensuring strong teaching, industry relevance, student employability, and cost-recovery performance.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of the Head of the HMTI will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide strategic leadership for the Institute, including the development and implementation of annual academic, operational and business plans.
- Oversee the smooth operation and overall management of the Institute, including programmes, staff, facilities, equipment and student services.
- Lead curriculum development, review and improvement for hospitality, tourism, culinary arts, food and beverage, housekeeping, front office, maritime and related training areas.
- Ensure that programmes reflect current industry standards, workforce needs, accreditation requirements and occupational health and safety expectations.
- Manage cost-recovery and revenue-generating activities, including short courses, professional certifications, customised training, facility use and commercial training partnerships.
- Prepare and monitor the Institute’s budget, control expenditure, and work with the Office of Finance to track revenue, expenses and cost-recovery performance.
- Recruit, supervise, mentor and evaluate instructional, technical, clerical and support staff assigned to the Institute.
- Build and maintain partnerships with hotels, resorts, restaurants, maritime agencies, tourism bodies, Government departments, employers and regional and international training partners.
- Coordinate internships, apprenticeships, work placements, guest lectures and employment pathways for students in collaboration with relevant industry partners.
- Work with the Unit for Partnerships and Enterprise Development, CGCE, divisions and other units to identify training opportunities and develop market-responsive programmes.
- Promote the Institute’s programmes and services in collaboration with the College’s Marketing and Public Relations functions.
- Monitor enrolment, completion, certification, placement, employer feedback, revenue and other key performance indicators.
- Prepare reports for the College’s Senior Administrative team on the Institute’s academic performance, business performance, risks and development needs.
- Promote a culture of excellence, professionalism, safety, service, innovation and accountability among staff and students.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should have:
- A Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Technical and Vocational Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- A recognised qualification in Pedagogy, Andragogy, Higher Education Teaching and Learning, Academic Practice, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality or tourism, technical and vocational education, or a related sector.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership, management, supervisory or academic coordination role.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, training delivery, quality assurance, budgeting, reporting and programme management.
- Experience developing industry partnerships, employer engagement initiatives, internships, professional training, or income-generating training services would be an asset.
