The SVGCC, in collaboration with The UWI Cave Hill Campus, will be offering the Post-graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Eligibility
Applicants must be teaching at the secondary school level in the following subject areas:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Business
- Social Sciences
- Foreign Languages

Deadline
Applications close on 31 May 2026. No late applications will be accepted or considered after this date, and no exceptions will be made.
Upon the close of the application period, only those applicants whose applications are recorded as fully submitted in the system will be considered for the programme. Applications that remain incomplete or in draft status at the time of closure will not be progressed.
Submission of Supporting Documents
We strongly encourage all applicants to upload their required supporting documents no later than two weeks after submitting their application. Where transcripts and referee reports are required, requests for these should be initiated promptly and where possible, delivered within that same two-week period.
Applicants who fail to submit the required documents within the stipulated timeframe should be informed that their applications may be closed before registration. The portal will not be reopened to facilitate late document submissions arising from an applicant’s failure to provide the necessary documentation in a timely manner. There will be no exceptions to this position.
