Orientation Notice
DASGS ORIENTATION GROUPS
Successful applicants for the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies (DASGS) are asked to note that the orientation schedule is included in their acceptance package. Students have been divided into eight (8) groups as follows:
Group 1
AA Fine Arts, Design and Cultural Communication
AS Psychology
Group 2
AS Information Technology
Group 3
AA Paralegal Studies
Group 4
AS Business Studies
Groups 5 and 6
CAPE students pursuing at least one of the following science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science and Green Engineering
Groups 7 and 8
remaining CAPE students
CAPE students can use the link below to find their orientation group. The document contains the Applicant ID numbers of the persons assigned to each group. Your Applicant ID is the number that was provided as your username for the online application system. If you cannot remember this number, search your email inbox for any emails you received during the creation and submission of your online application.

FIRST ROUND OF ACCEPTANCES ISSUED FOR THE DIVISION OF ARTS, SCIENCES AND GENERAL STUDIES AND THE DIVISION OF TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
Please be advised that the FIRST ROUND of Acceptance Packages will be sent out this afternoon, Wednesday August 30, 2017. If you have not received a package by 8:00 p.m. this does not necessarily mean that you have not been accepted into one of the College's Programmes. We are still processing applications and the additional acceptance packages will be sent out as we complete the admissions process. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Application Notice
APPLICATION FOR ENTRY TO FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES AT THE DIVISION OF TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
Shortlisted applicants who submitted applications for entry to full-time programmes at the Division of Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE) for the 2017-2018 academic year will be required to attend an interview during the week of Monday August 28th - Tuesday August 29th, 2017.
Interview dates and times will be circulated via email. Please note the expected dress code:
- Trousers/slacks or knee-length skirt
- Shirt/blouse with sleeves (short or long)
- Comfortable enclosed shoes
- Applicants must be neatly groomed
Jeans, T-shirts, slippers and sandals do not form part of the acceptable dress code for interviews.
Earrings, plaits/twists and caps for male applicants are not permitted.
Applicants who do not comply with the abovementioned dress code will not be interviewed.
DTVE Enrichment Short Courses 2017
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College invites applications for the Division of Technical and Vocational Education’s Enrichment Courses (One Semester Courses) 2017-2018 in the following:
- Events and Conference Management
- Bar Service and Mixology
- Basic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Maintenance
- Electrical Installation
- Culinary Arts
Courses will be run based on the availability of registered participants for each. Course details including course descriptions and costs as well as the application form can be accessed via the links below. Application forms are also available at the Division of Technical and Vocational Education.
DTVE Enrichment Course Details
DTVE Enrichment Course Application Form
There is an application of fee of $20 that must be paid at the Bursary at the SVGCC Villa Campus before submitting the application form. The completed application form, along with any requested documentation and proof of payment of the application fee, must be submitted at the Division of Technical and Vocational Education in Arnos Vale by Monday 4th September 2017. Courses will start on Monday September 11th 2017 and will be run based on the availability of registered participants for each.
SVGCC Application System Opens
The application period for full-time admission into the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies (DASGS) and the Division of Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE) for the 2017-2018 academic year opens today, Saturday 19th August 2017 at midday.
Interested applicants must complete and submit their applications using the SVGCC's online application system http://www.apply.svgcc.vc
The application system closes on Thursday 24th August 2017 at 9:00 p.m.
All applications must be completed and submitted by this time. Any applications that are not submitted by 9:00 p.m. on the date of the deadline will not be considered.
Applicants are strongly advised to read any and all instructions provided by the application system.
