Young Employees Socialisation Training Programme

The Eastern Caribbean Institute of Banking and Financial Services, and The Rotary Club of St. Vincent will hold a training programme aimed at empowering persons with the skills necessary to succeed in their professional lives.  The programme, entitled "Young Employees Socialisation Training Programme" will be held at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College - Villa Campus from Monday 3rd to Wednesday 12th August, 2015.

Application Period for the Part-Time Associate Degrees is Now Open

The St. Vincent  and the Grenadines Community College invites applications from persons interested in completing a part-time Associate Degree in the following areas:

  • Psychology 
  • Business Studies 
  • Law (Paralegal Studies)
  • Information Technology 

Application forms are available here and at the Registrar’s office at the campus in Villa.  Application forms, along with the relevant documents and an application fee of EC $20 should be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by/before Friday July 31, 2015.

Withdrawal of the 1 and 2 Cent Coins from Circulation

Effective 1 July 2015, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank will no longer issue one and two cent coins to commercial banks and the banks will no longer issue these coins to the public.  Businesses should not give back these coins as change.  A 'rounding' system will be used for cash transactions only.

Photo Day Schedule for SVGCC's 2015 Graduands


Photo Day will take place on Friday June 19, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. sharp and is scheduled as follows:

8:30a.m. – 12:00p.m.  

Division of Nursing Education

Division of Teacher Education

Division of Technical and Vocational Education

12:30 – 4:00 p.m. Division of Arts, Sciences and General Education

Please be advised to bring along your graduation gown, cap, tassel and stole to be worn in your photos.  We suggest that you wear a white shirt/blouse, preferably with a collar, though a collar is not necessary.  Photos are usually taken from the waist up so jeans or other comfortable bottoms and shoes are acceptable.  However, it is possible for you to request a full length individual shot.  If so, be sure to wear the appropriate bottoms (if they will show) and black dress shoes.
