Language, music and words influence how we perceive the world. The Counselling Department launched inspirational poetry sessions that are shared once a week to provide creative support to members of the SVGCC Community. We hope that the poems, literary works and spiritual materials shared can promote positive emotional well - being and resiliency during these difficult times.
Stay safe and stay grounded - SVGCC Counselling Department.
SVGCC Students Not Required to Return on 25th May 2020
Please note that the Ministry of Education's Press Release as it relates to all students with external examinations returning to school on Monday 25th May, 2020, does not refer to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC).
In the upcoming weeks, some students of the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies (DASGS) and the Division of Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE) may be required to go in to their campus to complete CAPE SBAs and practical assessments. These will be coordinated by the respective divisions to avoid too many students on campus at any one time.
The general public is asked to note that although administrative offices at SVGCC Villa Campus have reopened, the revised transcript request procedure remains in effect.
Persons are further asked to note that if they need to visit a member of staff in any of the administrative offices, they will be required to wear a face mask.
Loss and Living in the Time of COVID-19
Surviving and thriving in this time, of a pandemic, is challenging for all of us. Learning how to adapt to our "new normal" can take some time and effort. We face the loss of many things that made life happy, comfortable or at the least routine and now must find new ways to cope with the myriad changes around us.
All Bachelor of Science in Nursing applicants are kindly asked to submit the hard copies of their documents at the Division of Nursing Education in Old Montrose on Monday May 11th, 2020 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
