Urgent Notice For All DTE Applicants

Persons applying for entry into the SVGCC Division of Teacher Education are asked to note that any academic certificates/qualification documents that you submit with your application that were not issued by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College must be certified by the National Accreditation Board (NAB). The NAB offices are in the Education Annex which is located in the building opposite the Ministry of Education.

Division of Teacher Education Application Period Opens

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) invites applications from persons interested in pursuing an Associate Degree in Education at the Division of Teacher Education (DTE) in the following programmes:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Secondary Education

Applicants are strongly advised to read ALL of the instructions and entry requirements on the application site thoroughly before beginning the application process.

Online Applications close on Friday 3rd March, 2017.

If the issue could not be resolved via email, applicants can visit the Villa Campus on Monday - Friday between the hours of 10:00 am - 12 noon and 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

Urgent Notice for DTVE Faculty and Students

All students and faculty members of the DTVE are asked to note that there will be a general assembly at the Division's campus in Arnos Vale tomorrow, Monday 30th January 2017, starting at 8:30 a.m.

DO NOT go to the Centre in Kingstown or Diamond. All students and faculty of the Division are required to report to the DTVE campus for 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Mandarin Level 1 Course

The SVGCC is pleased to once again be offering to the general public a 12-week Mandarin Level one course.

This course begins on January 31st, 2017. Classes will be held on Tuesdays at 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Villa Campus.

The application form is available via the link below. Interested persons are required to submit the completed Application form, any additional requested documents and a course fee of EC$100 no later that January 25th, 2017 at the front desk of the Administrative Office at the Villa Campus (Please note that the Administrative Office is currently temporarily relocated on the ground floor of the Teachers Building at the Villa Campus).
